Could it be that the history channel series end really Barack Obama the Antichrist? End Times 2012?

What? You seem confused. Your question is a jumble. Obama doesn’t have anything to do with the History Channel.

interesting prophesy. i would not be surprised…the bible tells us that people will flock to them like the new messiah…and he will perform all kind of miracles and speak of peace.

Althought I don’t believe it all, there are several ethnic legends that combine to point to Obama being the anti-christ.

The 2012 stuff is about the Mayan calendar and last I heard the Bible doesn’t mention the Mayans, or the year 2012.

Back in 1992, Clinton was too good to be true… our ecomony was great, our world standing was even better, and he wasn’t the anti-christ or messiah.

I personally think that it’s entirely possible that Obama is the Antichrist. The Antichrist will supposedly hold a powerful leadership job for 7 years and his reign will come to end in 2012. Well, if Obama is elected, his total time as Senator and President will total seven years and his term will end in 2012. I’m not saying he is the Antichrist, I’m just saying it’s eerie how much in common Obama and the Antichrist have.

    frightening possibility but unlikely.

the main thing is because he ISN’T too good to be true.

there’s so much bad baggage he totes around that you can rest easy.

There will be both a solar and an lunar eclipse in 2012.

Also our entire solar system is entering in to an area known as the dark rift at the precise galactic center. This is scientifically verifiable.

Scenario: Obama is elected to one term that lasts for two terms and covers the 70th week of Daniel.

“The Beast” (or the Anti-Christ) was referred to as 666 as I’m sure sure you already know. It was also referred to as 616. During the time the Book of Revelation was written, the book the beast appears in, there was an emperor of Rome called Nero. He was the first Emperor to terribly persecute (and execute) Christian. He was feared by Christians and has gone down in history as strongly disliked. The first emporer was Domitian. He didn’t make nearly as much of an impact as Nero though. In the Hebrew language, each letter of the alphebet is not only representative of a letter/sound, but a number as well. The letter “n” is representative of the number 50. If you add up the values of all the letters in Nero’s name, you come up with 616 (his first name is included in the calculation, however, I fail remember his first name as the moment). Everyone was skeptical that he was the beast because his name only added up to 616. However, history tells us that in Rome, he was also referred to as Emporer Neron. The extra “n” is the missing 50. The Book of Revelation states that the beast ized the children of God and followed them throughout the world (which at the time it was written, the world was symbolic of Rome and the surrounding kingdoms). The beast was killed, but was revived by the second beast, who was the one who wanted to bring back evil. The 666 beast was the beast who revived the first one. The first beast is Emporer Domitian. The second beast is the one who was on earth to do his work. So we know that the second beast (666), was definitely a person on earth who was evil. So Nero had not technically revived Domitian after he had died, but had revived his work in the sense that he persecuted Christians, but to a much greater extent than Domitian. We also know that the number 6 is representative of imperfection. The number 3 is representative of perfection (along with 4 and 7). So the 3 6’s means perfect imperfection, or pure evil. So it works both ways. But Christian scholars have determined that through the book of Revelation and other Christian writings and Roman writings of the time, that the beast (666), was in fact Emporer Nero. So we don’t need to worry about finding the Anti-Christ because Nero has already been proved to be the Anti-Christ.
So the Anti-Christ has already been here, done his work, and died. He was out to persecute Christians and he succeeded. That’s the end and the Anti-Christ found in the Bible isn’t coming back. He’s already happened.

The world will end in 2012 because the Mayans said it in their silly little calendar. I’m ruled by superstitions, and I know nothing about logic. The Mayans knew exactly when the world would end, even though they were just humans like us. OK, I’m sorry for mocking you, but…

If the Mayans knew all about what was going to happen in the future, don’t you think they’d still be around?

The Bible speaks of many Antichrists, not just one I do Believe another is to come.Everyone keeps forgetting the false prophet who will come before the last Antichrist. No I do not believe the world is ending just yet.The Mayan calendar does not say that.It is the beginning of a new era,one of which they could not see,or maybe they did and could not believe. We will never know for sure.Too much history got destroyed there in that time. The earth will go on but no where does it say all peoples as we know them today will. That is the part to be of concern to us as a nation.I think we are at a crossroads and what we do now in this millennium will impact the future in ways we can’t even see yet.It has always been so.We have not learned from history so are doomed to repeat it,the difference is we now have the means to destroy all the earth.Yes,scary stuff.

Refrase your question a bit. I also think this man is the anti-messiah but its weird…its like I feel i must vote for the man. He’s going to win the election. I guarantee. He does seem to be a better quality leader than Bush or CLinton.

All Bible prophesy was already fulfilled. We read it as though it is addressed to us living today. If it is addressed to us, did the people living 300 years ago think this? Or did they think it was addressed to THEM? The trouble is, we don’t read the Bible with the principle of interpretation necessary to understand it. This principle is called “audience relevance,” which simply means we must seek to understand how the original audience understood the message. Once you read the Bible for the first time using this principle, it all becomes crystal clear. The letters of the new testament were written to churches and people alive during Jesus’ time, and those were the days of vengeance. Those were the days of tribulation and judgement. Those were the days when satan was crushed under Jesus’ feet.

So… no, Obama is not the Antichrist. (Most preterists think Nero was.) End times are long behind us, the time of the end of the old covenant way of life, and the beginning of the new covenant everlasting age which we are in today. The earth endures forever, world without end, amen!!
